Excluding Piggy, Ralph is the most mature and responsible member of the boys, for he is concerned throughout the book with keeping the can on the mountain going, and building shelter. However, he is the only person who acknowledges the importance of being responsible, and he takes over as a true leader even though he is not needfully good at it. 3Sam and Eric represents the crowd in current society, Just like every ordinary human.They are faithful and mostly good. They can be expound as loyalist in the story. Their rule is to allot whomever i s the leader. For example when Jack says Grab them No one moved. Jack shouted angrily.
